With all the talk of Kermit-95, my question may seem a bit quaint,
but I'm just exploring OS/2 right now, so here goes.
I have successfully run MS-DOS Kermit from full screen DOS
sessions under OS/2.
When booting 'Specific DOS' versions from a bootable DOS disk,
when I boot MS-DOS Kermit, it gives a message:
?Warning: unknown hardware for port. Using Bios as BIOS4.
Unimplimented Speed.
Then when trying to dial:
Unimplimented speed ^E^E^E..........
.............
^E^E^E^E^E^E^E^E^^E^E^
Unimplimented Speed
Configuring Zoom Telephonics 14400 bps modem on BIOS4
Can't get modem's attention.
Is there some trick around this problem, or is it
just a limitation of booting DOS from inside OS/2?
Thanks for any help,
(and sorry if this is covered in some documentation somewhere,
I just couldn't find it.)
